About Us
In Arabic, the word “Sahira” means someone who is wakeful, vigilant, or aware. It also refers to the one who stays up at night to tend to the sick. This is what The Sahira Collective stands for—we are a multi-media, youth-led magazine that focuses on what actually matters, things that represent humanity and what it may have just lost. We represent and bring attention to everything—from current happenings to even historical ones.

Our Mission
Founded in April ʼ25, The Sahira Collective aims to stand for justice, truth, and culture. We hope to stand for those that are oppressed, and amplify the voices of those that have something meaningful to say—through art, videos, literature, and other means of expression.
If your beliefs align with our mission, apply to join our team today! Staff applications are open for all young creatives wishing to make a change—find the form in our bio.
